NA LCS: Vulcun’s Quinn Pick Fails to Soar, Curse Remains On Top

A surprise Quinn pick by Vulcun’s Mid Laner mandatorycloud wasn’t enough to challenge the top team in NA LCS, as Curse dropped Vulcun with little difficulty in the final match of Week 7. NyJacky admittedly had no experience against Quinn players and was forced to adopt a more passive style of play. Limited action in the mid lane forced mandatorycloud to find other ways to make an impact elsewhere on the map, but he was always too little, too late.

NA LCS: Dignitas Steamrolls Undefeated Curse, Extends Win Streak to 7

The most anticipated match of the Wednesday LCS Super Week featured two big-name teams with big-time goals. Curse, the current titans of the NA LCS, aimed to remain undefeated. Dignitas looked to both legitimize and extend their already impressive win streak by taking down Curse. While both teams traded kills early, Dignitas’ pace allowed for an utterly dominant win, giving Curse their first loss of the season.

NA LCS: Curse Slowly Overwhelms Good Game University, Remains Undefeated

In an a classic “the hunter becomes the hunted” scenario, Good Game University broke out a huge crowd control composition that included Leona in the jungle, Fizz in the top lane, and Zyra as support. Clearly, this composition was designed for one thing and one thing only: To seek out and secure kills against Curse. While entertaining during the champion select, GGU’s inability to land their ultimates effectively negated their own composition.
